Bugaboo has recently released some new products and we've had the chance to has a Q&A with our Bugaboo Representatives. Here's what they had to say!
Why is the Bugaboo Cup Holder/ Comfort Wheeled Board/ Parasol changed?
The products are changed to support the connection to the integrated attachment points of the Bugaboo Bee5. These points allow direct attachment of the Bugaboo Cup Holder/ Comfort Wheeled Board/ Parasol to the Bugaboo Bee5; no additional adapter is needed. The products are updated with a new connection part. We also developed new adapters which are still needed for compatibility with all other Bugaboo strollers.
Are the adapters for the Bugaboo Cup Holder/ Comfort Wheeled Board/ Parasol included in the packaging?
The adapters are still included in the packaging for the Bugaboo Cup Holder and Bugaboo Parasol. The adapter needs to be purchased separately for the Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board.
Can the old adapters be used on the updated Bugaboo Cup Holder/ Comfort Wheeled Board/ Parasol?
No, the old adapters can’t be used on the updated products.
Can I use my Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board for the Bugaboo Bee5 as well?
No, the connection part is different which does not allow attachment to the integrated attachment points on the Bugaboo Bee5. It is possible to buy a new connection part and replace this for the old connection part. This way you can use the comfort wheeled board on the Bugaboo Bee5. Switching the Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board between strollers is not possible however.
How do I know if I have or need the old or new Bugaboo Cup Holder/ Comfort Wheeled Board or Parasol?
The new version with the integrated attachment points have and additional “+” in the item description.
