Every Child Matters Orange T-Shirt -Ravens' Resilience

2025 Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day T-Shirt features a meaningful design by Haida, Kwakwaka’wakw artist Yasakw (Shelly Samuels). The artwork depicts a Raven sheltering her two babies beneath her wings, forming the shape of a heart — a powerful symbol of love, protection, and care.

In the words of Yasakw (Shelly Samuels):
"Children are a gift as they carry our stories, our culture, and our future. This is our reminder that they deserve to be loved, honoured, and cared for. Every Child Matters. My Naanii (grandmother) Audrey was a Residential School survivor who put in the work every single day until the day she passed. Proceeds from our Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day collection go directly to the Native Northwest Reconciliation Fund, supporting individuals and families still affected by Residential Schools and intergenerational trauma.
