I asked my sister to get this for my baby before he was even born. I was initially afraid that my son won't like it since there were some skeptical reviews. I tried to give this to him at 1-2mos and he wasn't ready for it. But now that he is 5mos and teething, he absolutely LOVES chewing on sophie. And my husband and I love it too, because she is totally non-toxic and soft (a different teether we have cut my son's mouth!)

Our baby LOVES Sophie and he's only 3 months old! Every time we put him in front of her he smiles. He's also started using her as a teether and likes the texture of her rubber for biting on. Definitely recommend this!

Easy for very young babies to grip, and safe to chew on. A must-have for every baby.

I received this as a shower gift. My son loved to get his fingers around the leg and chew on the nose/ face.

This is one of those toys you never hear of until you have a kid. Overall, my child likes to make noise with it and enjoys putting it in her mouth. I like it because it doesn't have any toxic materials that I know can harm her. For young infants, this toy is really fun for them and well worth the money spent!

Of course my son loved Sophie - all babies do! He's over a year old and still enjoys chewing on her regularly. Now that I'm pregnant with baby #2 I'm sure I'll have to buy a second one when the baby arrives because my son is not going to want to share his.

I really love this, our baby (Tatum) does too! I feel this will likely be an iconic toy for this decade, much like Raggedy Ann and Andy were for my generation. One toy that is a no-brainer as a gift, no worries for mom or dad, all natural=easy 5 star

Easy for our baby to hold. She loves chomping on various parts of Sophie. Easy to throw into a diaper bag and carry with you at all times :) easy to replace if you lose her, too which is a necessity because Sophie is also easy to throw out of the stroller.

Sophie is too cute! Our baby recognizes her right away. She loves to chew or just hold her. I would say the only downfall is it is a bit expensive for a rubber toy.

Everybody's baby seems to love Sophie except for mine! He prefers to chew on hard things to alleviate teething pains - which makes Sophie just an overpriced squeeky-toy.

Originally, my husband and I laughed at the thought of purchasing a rubber giraffe for over $23. Then we did the research. And then we got one. And we never looked back! Our daughter loved her Sophie, as did many of her friends who had one too! A great teething friend and a great toy for afterwards as well.

My baby loves Sophie. I got it for her before she's even teething just so she can learn to hold and focus. When she started teething Sophie is the first thing she chew on. The nubby thingy on the head of Sophie are great to soothe an aching gum. The fact that there's nothing toxic in this toy it's a peace of mind because it's one less thing to worry about. I highly recommend it !

A great toy for teething babies. It's legs and neck are the perfect size for holding and chewing on. My baby loves the squeak it makes. I love it because it's easy to clean.

I bought this for my four month old baby boy who has started showing signs of teething. He took to Sophie immediately, grabbing her and using her to chew on when he feels like doing so. The physique of the little giraffe is perfect for tiny hands to hold on to and the fact that Sophie is made from non-toxic materials makes her ideal for a baby who likes to chew on everything (and chewing on is obviously what she is intended for!). Sophie has become a constant companion and my little boy even holds on to her when going for a ride in his pram! Absolutely worth it!...
